The AFHRA foundation course in EP aims to provide a Certificate at Foundation level for Cardiologists, Nurses and Cardiac Technicians from across the continent who want to manage patients who need to do EP.

The course format combines didactic teaching through webinars with post-webinar online seminars. It is a 26-week modular course with 15 didactic meeting points and a shared meeting group where online resources and materials are encouraged to support self-directed education. At the end of the course, participants will receive a confirmation of completion of the course (requires live attendance in at least 75% of the classes and offline catch up for all the courses not attended live). Candidates will undergo an assessment which will lead to the combined AFHRA/PASCAR Certificate of Completion of the EP foundation programme.

During each session, faculty comprising one or two speakers, a chairperson, two panelists and one student moderator chairperson will prepare the delivery of the lecture.
